Lucas Aguirre was born in Córdoba in 1979. He studied Visual Arts at the National University of Córdoba. He attended art clinics with Ananké Asseff (CCRIT / 2014-2016), Daniel Fischer (Art Boomerang / 2012-2013) Diana Aisenberg (MDA / 2017-2018) and workshops with Grupo Mondongo, Remo Bianchedi and Mariano Sardón.
His works have been chosen as finalist in the ITAU Award 2019-2020, selected in the 2015-2016 ITAU Award, in the UADE 2016 National Competition and in the 2016 Córdoba City Hall Award. In 2017, he was selected in the National Program “Plataforma Futuro” with the project Alteridad, explorations on the intersection of virtual reality, psychology and art, with tutoring by Martín Bonadeo and in the municipal prize “Programa Obrar” with Marcela Bosch, with tutoring by Eduardo Stupía.
He has made exhibitions such as “A constructive Instability” at Art Mûr (Montreal, Canada 2021), “Friso” at Hall of the Famaf Faculty (Córdoba 2018), “I do not speak of fire´s representation , I speak of fire” at Museo Lino Enea Spilimbergo, (Unquillo, Córdoba 2015), “Una grieta en todo” at Genaro Pérez Museum (Córdoba 2014).
